RHL Development Academy

May 12th - July 28th
Sundays, 5pm - 7pm

Led by professional roller hockey player Brandon Glover, the RHL Academy is organized into 2 Levels that group participants based on their ability and experience, with movement between levels determined by an individual’s progress in a competitive training environment.

Through concepts, drills and scrimmage (possible games vs. other leagues), each level will include:

  1. Skating Techniques

  2. Positioning Strategies

  3. Defence-to-Attack Formulations

  4. Man-to-Man Approaches

  5. Reaction Capacity & Timing Procedures

  6. Fitness & Health

  7. Sports Mentality

Option 1) Armoury Basic Training: At this level, we will introduce tactics and strategies used in the North American roller hockey system and explain how and when each will be used.

Option 2) Armoury Special Forces: In addition to the above-noted tactics, at this level, we concentrate more on the tactical side, as well as reaction capacity, making players more robust in play. This includes reading the game on and off the puck and understanding their position on the rink.

An assessment will be held on the first week of Development Academy to ensure accuracy on what option best fits each participant.

Cost $305 / per ($55 Non-refundable)
When: Sundays (5pm - 7pm)
